You can prepare chicken at the right temperature using the Sous Vide machine. This healthy cooking method allows food to retain its moisture and vitamins. The Sous Vide method is my favorite way to cook chicken. However, you can also use this method to cook on the stovetop. It’s important to regulate the temperature of your pot.
Cooking Sous Vide Without a Sous Vide Machine
A pot, heat source (the stove), and a thermometer are all you will need. Keep some ice or cold water on hand. Turn on the heat and place the thermometer in the water. It’s okay to go above the temperature. Just add some ice and stir. Depending on how big a pot of water it is, the water will remain at this temperature for five to ten minutes. You may need to heat the stove every five minutes. This can be done by keeping a tea kettle nearby and adding boiling water periodically to it.
This method is very affordable and easy to heat or add hot water. You can also cool it down with some ice cubes. However, you cannot just leave the food alone and get on with your life. This is one of the many advantages of a Sous Vide machine. This method can be used to cook your chicken, beef, or vegetables.
